Maniratnam healthy and back to work!

Top director Maniratnam is known for his classic hits like Nayagan, Thalapathy, Mouna Raagam, Anjali and his terrorism based movies like Roja, Anjali, Uyire, besides movies like Iruvar, Kanathil Muthamittal, OK Kanmani and Kaatru Veliyidai.
The director had last delivered the blockbuster movie Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, the multistarrer featuring Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aditi Rao Hydari, and is next set to begin the magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan.
Yesterday there was a news making rounds that the veteran director had been admitted in Apollo hospital due to cardiac issues, and that he was being treated for the same. The latest update is that it was a routine checkup and that Maniratnam is healthy and back to office to resume works on his next.
