The teaser of The Raja Saab, starring Rebel Star Prabhas, has set the internet ablaze, garnering a thunderous response from fans and cinephiles alike. Directed by Maruthi, this much-awaited horror-comedy is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 5, 2025.
However, a statement made during the teaser launch sparked a flurry of online discussions. Director Maruthi mistakenly mentioned that the film would be three and a half hours long, which led to widespread speculation about the film's length.
Clearing the air shortly afterward, Maruthi issued a clarification:
“By mistake, I said the film’s duration will be three and a half hours long. The actual runtime will be around three hours. That’s the tentative duration, and it might slightly change closer to release.”
Adding to the conversation, producer TG Vishwa Prasad also weighed in on the film’s ambitious scale:
“I can clarify. The Raja Saab has a lot of significant content. Like any producer, I asked Maruthi Garu, ‘Why can’t we split the film into two parts?’ We still need to shoot the songs. But Maruthi Garu is very clear. He wants to deliver everything in a single part.”
Backed by People Media Factory, The Raja Saab promises a mass entertainer with a unique blend of horror and comedy, amplified by Prabhas' screen presence and Maruthi’s signature narrative style. With expectations soaring and the teaser setting the tone, all eyes are now on this big-ticket December release.
