Director N Shankar hails KCR, roots for TRS ahead of GHMC polls

Director N Shankar has been a supporter of the TRS and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Ahead of the GHMC polls, due to be held on December 1, the filmmaker has praised the rule of KCR.
He ensured that we got Telangana statehood without the use of violence. And, after coming to power, he reset the law and order system. If investments are healthy today in Hyderabad, it's only because of the improved law and order situation, Shankar said.
The director said that, thanks to the efforts of the government and IT Minister KT Rama Rao, investments in the IT sector have picked up over the years.
He also said that the water problem in the city has been resolved by the TRS government since it came to power in 2014. Shankar also appreciated the government for offering flood relief compensation of Rs 10,000 to each of the flood-affected families in Hyderabad.
