Vijay's blockbuster hits director Perarasu joins BJP

The central ruling party BJP has recently attracted many celebrities into its fold namely badminton star Saina Nehwal. From Kollywood longtime Dravidian parties strongman Radha Ravi joined the party which he has fiercely criticized in the past.
The latest to become a BJP member is none other than director Perarasu who has given two of the biggest blockbuster hits for Thalapathy Vijay, 'Tirupachi' and 'Sivakasi'. He has also helmed the Ajith movie 'Thirupathi' for the AVM banner which also was a huge hit.
Perarasu met Tamil Nadu BJP leader Pon Radhakrishnan on Saturday and received his membership card. He stated that he is happy about Modi's leadership and would work to strengthen the national party in the state.
