Actor-Director Raj Kapoor's 23-year-old son Shahrukh has reportedly passed away suddenly. It is said that he had gone to Mecca on a pilgrimage and the tragedy happened due to illness. Further details are awaited.
Raj Kapoor made his directorial debut with Prabhu-Kanaka's 'Thaalaatu Kekkudhamma' produced by Sivaji Productions and went on to make several films with Prabhu, Karthik, Sathyaraj, Arjun, Murali, Sarathkumar and Prashanth. He has directed two films with Ajith as the hero 'Ananda Poongaatre' and 'Aval Varuvala'. Raj Kapoor has also acted in several films and television serials.
