Director Ram Gopal Varma has become a granddad as his only daughter Revathi has given birth to a girl baby. Revathi married Pranav a doctor from Hyderabad in 2013 and then moved to the United States where the couple reside and the birth also happened there at a private hospital. RGV who is pretty active on social media has not shared the news yet but his industry colleague S.S. Rajamouli has broken the new with his hilarious tweet.

Rajamouli has written "Congratulations Ramu thaatayya garu... Wishing your granddaughter will be the person who will finally rein you in... btw what do you prefer Ramu tata Ramu Nanna or Grandpa Ramu..."

Ram Gopal Varma is known for courting controversy and is also very vocal in his criticisms against politicians of all parties. He is currently awaiting the release of 'Enter the Girl Dragon' touted to be India's first full-fledged martial arts movie.
