Malayalam top hero Mammootty had this year acted in Tamil in the movie Peranbu, which was directed by Ram, and the movie which had received many awards in film festivals also starred Anjali, Anjali Ameer, Sadhana, Samuthirakani and had received great reviews.

Now he is all set to return to Tamil with the dubbed version of his mega budget historical movie Mamangam which is directed by M Padmakumar, and the movie which is about warriors who fought against Zamorin rulers is getting released on November 21.

Mammootty has decided to dub himself for the Tamil version as well, and to get the perfection in classical tamil dialogues, director Ram has been helping him in the dubbing sessions. Mamangam also stars Unni Mukundan and Prachi Tehlan and will also release in Telugu and Hindi.
