Famous director Robert (Rajasekharan) passes away

Famous director Robert one half of the Robert-Rajasekharan duo passed away today at the SRM hospitals in Potheri where he was admitted due to age-related illness. Tributes are flowing in from Kollywood celebrities and his last rites will be performed tomorrow at 10 am.
Robert and Rajasehkar started as cinematographers for films such as 'Oruthalai Ragam' and then debuted as directors for the sleeper hit 'Palaivana Solai' starring Suhasini and Chandrasekhar. They later went on to direct many hit films including 'Chinna Poove Mella Pesu', 'Manasukkul Mathappu' and 'Paravaigal Palavitham'.
