Kamal Haasan wrapped up a schedule of 'Indian 2' in Chennai earlier this month. We already reported to you that the Ulaganayagan will travel to Taiwan and South Africa for the upcoming schedules of the movie. Now, director Shankar has shared the latest updates about the film in an award function.

Kamal Haasan and director Shankar were present at an award ceremony. Talking at the event, Shankar revealed that the team is planning to wrap up the talkie portions by June month. The song sequences and VFX will be pending after that. Reportedly, he confirmed that a single from Indian 2 will be released soon.

The director said that he recently okayed Anirudh's tune and the music composer is working on the song. Indian 2 also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha and many others. Jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, the makers are aiming for a grand Diwali release.
