'Michael Madana Kama Rajan' director Singitham Sreenivasa Rao tests positive for COVID 19

The lockdowns that have been in force for five months in India due to the coronavirus may have been eased by the governments but the virus is here to stay and it is most sensible to always wear masks and practice sanitization at all times to be safe.

Veteran director Singitham Sreenivasa Rao has confirmed in a video message that he has tested COVID 19 positive on September 9th and he is in home isolation. The 88 year old multiple award winner in Tamil and Telugu is very cheerful and says that he will get well soon as his symptoms are very mild and he is quite fit and is very positive.

Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is one of the most important directors in the history of especially Tamil cinema as he has made the critically acclaimed 'Dhikkattra Paarvathi' written by Rajaji and the unforgettable comedy cult classics 'Apoorva Sagodharargal', 'Michael Madhana Kamarajan' and 'Kadhala Kadhala' all starring Kamal Haasan.
