Tamil director Susi Ganesan has been accused by filmmaker and poet Leena Manimekalai of sexually harassing her years ago. As per her, he tried to molest her in a luxury car on the pretext of dropping her home late in the night.

Siddharth of 'Bommarilu' fame, who has been vocal about the 'Me Too' movement, has said that Susi recently threatened his father for supporting Leena. "Susi Ganesan spoke to my aged father on the phone and threatened us with dire consequences if I continue to stand by Leena. So I just want everyone to know that now more than ever, I Stand With #LeenaManimekalai. Stay strong and fight the good fight sister!" the actor tweeted out today.

Susi is yet to comment on the issue. As for Leena's allegations, he has commented that he never used a luxury car and doesn't usually drive. The abuse never happened, he claimed.
