One of the most talked about movies in recent times is Kavalthurai ungal Nanban, which is directed by debutant RDM. The movie which is based on true events had been screened in several film festivals as well.

Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban starring Suresh Ravi, Raveena Ravi and Mime Gopi revolves around a man's life impacted by police brutalities and is expected to be a hard-hitting thriller which exposes the dark side of police.

While initially the movie was supposed to release last year, it was postponed due to the pandemic. Now director Vetrimaaran has come forward to release the movie, and Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban will be presented by his Grassroot Film company.
The movie has now been announced as a December 2020 release.
