Disha Patani of 'Loafer' (Telugu), 'MS Dhoni' (Hindi) and 'Baaghi-2' (Hindi) fame, has been roped in for 'Project K'. Starring Prabhas in the lead, the film is a sci-fi entertainer.

The multi-lingual actress, whose ravishing pics have occasionally gone viral across social media platforms in the last few years, will be playing an as-yet-undisclosed role in the Nag Ashwin directorial. "Project K welcomes you. We are thrilled to have you on board," the makers wrote in a welcome message addressed to Disha. The actress shared the same on Instagram.

Prabhas is scheduled to commence filming for his portions in the movie - portions that involve only him among the prominent cast. He has already shot for portions with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan, separately, during two different schedules. Director Ashwin, who has previously made Keerthy Suresh's blockbuster 'Mahanati', is looking for a host of technicians and artists for the movie, among them action choreographers, martial artists, Parkour players, Kalari fighters, etc.

The film, to be released as a multi-country project, will probably hit the screens in 2024.
