DMK spokesperson Tamilan Prasanna's wife dies by suicide on her birthday

DMK's official spokesperson and lawyer Tamilan Prasanna's wife Nadiya has reportedly died by suicide earlier today, which also happens to be her birthday.

Tamilan Prasanna and his family have been residing in the Erukkanchery area of Vyasarpadi and the lawyer's wife was found hanging at her residence earlier today. Upon receiving information of the incident, the Kodungaiyur police retrieved Nadiya's body and sent it for autopsy.

While it is currently being investigated as to what caused Nadiya to take the extreme step, preliminary investigation has revealed that she decided to end her life due to family related issues. Further updates are awaited.
