Don
Sivakarthikeyan's next outing - an action comedy film, directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi in his directorial debut named 'Don'. The film has Siva playing the lead with Priyanka Arulmohan as his love interest. Don is produced by Allirajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions with SK's Sivakarthikeyan Productions co-producing it. Don also has S. J. Suryah, Samuthirakani and Soori in pivotal roles.
The film has music by composer Anirudh, who is teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan for the seventh time with cinematography and editing by K. M. Bhaskaran and Nagooran respectively. Don was announced in January 2021 and was shot extensively across Tamil Nadu including Coimbatore, Chennai, Pollachi and Udumalaipettai, while a song was filmed in Agra.
Don was initially scheduled for theatrical release on Republic Day (26 January 2022). Due to the release of big-budget films in that month, the producers pushed the release date to Valentine's Day weekend and later rescheduled it to 17 February 2022, to coincide with the actor's birthday. Now, Don is scheduled to release theatrically on 13 May 2022.
