It is many more weeks to go for the release time. However, Dookudu's distribution rights have already been sold, that too at a phenomal sum. The Mahesh Babu-starrer has generated much hype in the market from day one. In the past, its rights were sold at gigantic sums with Ceded, Nellore, Nizam, Guntur and Karnataka rights netting a handsome amount of more than Rs. 22 cr.

Now, the Uttarandhra rights, which were pending business have been sold at nearly Rs. 2.90 cr. to Gayatri Devi Films. Not surprisingly, the Srinu Vaitla directorial is exceeding all business expectations of the producers. Though the actor's previous film Khaleja did not have a decent run at the box office, it seems he has got good craze in the maket.

Meanwhile, the producers are reported to have romped home a stunning amount in selling the satellite rights. The audio rights (music is by Thaman) are also expected to fetch mind-blowing amounts.
