One of the vibrant directors of Kannada cinema Guruprasad, writer and actor too is unmoved with the result that has come in the box office for his film ‘Directors Special’. His earlier two films ‘Mata and Eddelu Manjunatha’ were 100 days films and talked massively for its dialogues and contents.

The path of the audience is changed by media reviews to large extent. I take it sportive and go ahead with many more projects. I am not at loss from the project and only thing I might miss out is ‘Hat Trick’ crown says Guruprasad in a casual chat at Billiards Club when he had come for the promotion of ‘Whistle’ Kannada cinema.

Agreeing to the point that delay was a cause of worry the film was safe for the investment. I had expected good audience response. In some places it is mixed response. I do not agree that ‘Directors Special’ is a bad film. It was released in an environment that gave biased verdict that was a big bouncer in the box office.

Guruprasad is shortly taking up a film for Jhenkar Movies Bharat Jain and it will be another interesting film he says.
