After releasing a blockbuster like 'Desamuduru', Bhagawan and Danayya are going in for another mass masala film with Sreenu Vaitla as director. Like the producers, the director too had a big hit in the recent past through 'Dhee'. Raviteja, who tasted a bitter experience with 'Khatarnak' is eagerly looking a big hit and the combination of a successful producer and a successful director would definitely earn him a big hit.
Manisharma, who is known for giving fantastic mass masala tunes scored music for this flick.
He gave a perfect mix of western and mass tunes to suit the taste of mass audiences, the fans of Raviteja who had a good mass following as well as the class audiences comprising youth with fantastic western beat. Though the songs as a whole give us a good feel, they smell the mass flavour a little more.
Once Upon Singers: Karthika and Rita
This number starts with a mass tune with rhythmic beat. The western kind of humming has the title of the film and is good to listen. The guitar interludes and the flute rhythm gave good scope for the artiste to dance in between the stanzas. The tune will definitely attract the youth as it has a lot of scope to dance while playing the audio in parties and other get together. The Arabic kind of tune before the second stanza was also good to listen. The lyric has good literary value also.
Diwali Holi Singers: Tippu, Karunya, Kausalya
It looks a group song between friends. The song starts with a good humming from Kausalya followed by the guitar music. It was basically done with melody in its backdrop. Manisharma chose to use guitar for the interludes, coupled with keyboard. The music from keyboard and the sargam in the middle also added good feel to the song. The lyric was scripted equating the joy of friends with festivals hence there is a good literary value in the song. The flute tune before the second stanza further boosted the rhythm.
Kol Kol Singers: Ranjit and Saindhavi
This number was tuned in a folk tune. Listening to the song one can easily realize it is a duet. There is nothing much talk about the song as the music director used very less instruments like drums in this song. However, before the second stanza again there was a hum with western beat with a view of canning the song abroad to justify the title 'Dubai Seenu'.
Seenu Seenu. Singer: Naveen
This is a solo number. Giving the lyric, the song should be a playback song. The film had good mass beat. However, after the first stanza, use of classical instrument like veena and the piano bits give a classic touch to the song. Immediately there was a western humming. Typically after the second stanza, the use of tabla and veena resumed giving the classic touch again. As a whole the song had a good mix of mass and class tunes.
Kanya Raasi. Singers: Vijay Yesudas, Suchitra
This is yet another duet tuned in a western humming style. The songs starts with a tune from saxophone and continued with clarinet. There was a good western hums in the interludes. After the first stanza the use of flute helped in boosting the feel in the song. Then comes the saxophone bit again. After another stanza, the use of piano, clarinet, saxophone and the key board coupled with flute proved the versatility of taste of the director / music director.
Suppanathi Singers: Manicka Vinayagam, Anuradha Sriram
The song was basically tuned in folk beat. The song starts with a Saki. The actual song begins with heavy drumbeat. The interludes between the stanzas was full of drum beat giving good scope for the
