Dulquer Salmaan's next to release on OTT platform

Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming cop thriller 'Salute' is one of the much-awaited movies in Mollywood. As the cinema theatres across the nation have resumed functioning in Kerala and across the nation, the audience were expecting the DQ starrer to have a mega theatrical release! However, as per the latest update, ‘Salute’ is all set to stream via a popular OTT platform Sony Liv. The announcement was made by Dulquer Salmaan himself through his official Facebook handle. Sharing a new poster of the movie, DQ announced the same. However, the actor is yet to announce the release date.
'Salute' was initially scheduled to hit the theatres on January 14. But later the makers postponed the release due to a spike in Covid-19 cases in the country. The Rosshan Andrrews directorial features Dulquer Salmaan in the central character named Aravind Karunakaran.
Bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan’s production house, ‘Salute’ is penned down by the writer duo Bobby-Sanjay. Actress Diana Penty will be making her Malayalam debut by playing a pivotal role in the upcoming film ‘Salute’. Apart from Dulquer Salmaan, Salute also features the actors Manoj K Jayan, Lakshmi Gopalaswami, Saniya Iyappan, Binu Pappu, and Saikumar.
