Director Manirathnam`s films are known to tackle contemporary issues like terrorism in Roja`, communal disharmony in Bombay`, Illegal marriage in Alaipayuthey` and extramarital love in Ravanan` to name a few. There is a lot of curiosity as to what issue the internationally acclaimed director is tackling in the April 17 release OK Kanmani`.

The Audio Success meet of the film was held today and when a question was asked if OK Kanmani` was about a live in relationship between the characters of Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menon as rumored Manirathnam did not say no, but asked everyone to wait for a few days thus leaving it hanging. VJ Ramya debuts as an actress in this film which also has Prakash Raj in a pivotal role.
