'Duvvada Jagannadham' is distant second

The teaser of 'Duvvada Jagannadham' has rocked it from minute one. It has now crossed 8 million views, becoming the first Telugu film teaser to accomplish this in the least number of hours.

It has taken 225 hours and 20 minutes for the teaser to create the said record. In contrast, Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' didn't take more than 41 hours to get this figure! 'DJ' is a distant second to 'Kabali'.

That said, this is no small feat for the Allu Arjun-starrer. In fact, this is still the most-viewed Teaser in the shortest time in the history of Telugu cinema. In South India, it's the second best performer. Coming third in terms of time is the Tamil film 'Bairavaa' (Vijay-starrer), which took 268 hours to get at the figure.
