RIP! Veteran actor-director E. Ramadoss passes away

Veteran actor-director E. Ramadoss passed away last night due to a sudden heart attack. His son Kalaichelvan has confirmed the news on his social that the body will be kept for celebrities and fans to pay tribute at their house on Munusamy Road, KK Nagar. The cremation will be held at Nesapakkam Main Cemetery at 5 pm.

Hailing from Villupuram, E Ramadoss came to Chennai with a passion for cinema and started his career as a writer. It is noted that he is one of the 14 directors who directed the Guinness World Records film 'Swayamvaram' apart from 'Aayiram Pookkal Malarattom' starring Mohan, 'Raja Raja Than' and 'Nenjam Undu Neermai Undu' starring Ramarajaan and 'Iravanan' and 'Vaazhka Jananayagam' starring Mansoor Ali Khan in the lead.

Later Ramadoss took to acting and starred in important roles in several Tamil films that include the super hits 'Vasoolraja MBBS, 'Nadodigal', 'Cuckoo', 'Khaki Sattai', 'Visaranai', 'Vikram Veda', 'Maari' and 'Dharmadurai'. Rich tributes are pouring in for the 65 year old. RIP!
