Edakallu Guddada Mele today

The last film of noted actor, director and producer Edakallugudda Chandrasekhar (who died in Canada this year) is releasing today in over 100 theatres.
A film with concern to the society and on relationship ‘Edakallu Guddada Mele’ has nothing to do with the 40 years old SR Puttanna Kanagal cinema of the same title. It is realtor from Mysuru GP Prakash maiden film that has bagged four international awards and screened at a few festivals. Shanker worked behind camera and Ashik Arun composed music for this film.
‘EDakallu Guddada Mele’ is winner of CKF international film festival, winner in Los Angeles fin awards, winner among five continents international film festival as best lead actress and winner of best production design at Five Continents international film festival.
Vivin Soorya is director of this film that has a portion of suspense. It is a woman oriented film and the presence of top stars of yesteryears is another big bonus from this film.
Swathi Sharma and Nakul Sharma heading the cast the supporting cast is huge in this film. Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Dr Srinath, Edakallu Gudda Chandrasekhar, Sumithramma, Dattanna, Sihikahi Chandru, with Moguru Suresh, Chidanand, Bhavyasri Rai, Jyothi Rai, Veena Sunder, Lakshmi Siddaiah, Padmaja Rao, Ravi Bhat, Usha Bhandai, Dharmendra, Pragathi, Vaibhavi, Meghana and others are in the cast.
