Editor Sreekar Prasad finds a spot in Limca Book of Records

National Award-winning film editor A Sreekar Prasad has found a spot in the Limca Book of Records for being the first Editor in India to edit films in 17 languages.

Over the last four decades, the celebrated editor has worked on about 500 movies, Limca says.  He has edited small-range movies, art movies and big-ticket films as well.  From independent movies to commercial ones, Prasad has been associated with a range of them.

"Fortunate to be an Indian, so diverse, so many languages but same emotions (sic)," Prasad has tweeted out.

After doing 'Sye Raa' and 'Saaho' in recent times, he is currently handling the editing department of Rajamouli's 'RRR', Shankar's 'Indian 2' and Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvam', among others.
