Super hit. Ek Villain has registered phenomenal figures of 50 crore nett in India!!. The box office bang of the year started with an incredible 16.72 crores opening on day one on 2539 screens. Continuing its winning streak the Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh starrer helmed by Mohit Suri and produced by Balaji recorded a figure of 16.54 cr on Saturday and 17.44 cr on Sunday taking its weekend total to a stupendous 50.70 cr nett in India.

Ek Villain success is great news for the industry.. the project didn,t had superstars but smart marketing, good content and soothing music brought in the hooplas that a superstar dreams of..
