Shantanu Moitra has found a terrific production house in Vinod Chopra Productions. For he is back after the superlative musical success of ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ with the delightfully melodious ‘Chanda Re’ in Vinod Chopra’s directorial venture ‘Eklavya – The Royal Guard’. Picturised on Vidya Balan, this song blessed with a classical feel and crisp laidback energy reminds you of the brilliant compositions Moitra designed for Chopra’s ‘Parineeta’.

The music is yet not out but what you gather from the promo of ‘Chanda Re’ one can notice the festive Rajathani flavour dominating the scenario. This is the second time Saif Ali Khan is paired with the talented Vidya Balan. And chote nawab seems to be in great form. Amitabh Bachchan impresses with his towering presence while Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff and Jimmy Sheirgill can’t be ignored either. ‘Eklavya – The Royal Guard’ is all set for a worldwide release on February 16th. The countdown has already begun to one of the most eagerly awaited films of year 2007.
