Heroine Acts as a Corpse for 35 Days in Emakathagi’s Success

The film ‘Emakadagi,’ directed by debutant director Peppin George Jayaseelan, was released on the 7th. The film features actors like Roopa, Narendra Prasad, Geetha Kailasam, Raju Rajappan, Subash Ramasamy, and Haritha. Produced by Srinivasa Rao Jhalakam, the movie also had Ganapathi Reddy as co-producer. Following the positive reception of the film, the team met with journalists.

During the press meet, actress Geetha Kailasam shared her experience, saying, “I had a significant role throughout the film. The entire team of 45 members stayed in a village, creating many memorable moments. The local villagers became our friends. The lead actress, Roopa, played a corpse for 35 days, and her dedication was truly impressive. This film holds an important place in my life; it feels like my own. We were eagerly waiting for its release. Despite being a debut film, the director did an excellent job.”
