Archana, who rose to fame through the Bigg Boss reality show, recently opened up about the life lessons she learned from the show. Speaking about her experience, Archana said, "Bigg Boss did not just give me recognition; it revealed my true self to the audience, beyond the mask. That’s what makes the show so special to me."
She added that the most valuable takeaway from her stint in Bigg Boss was learning the power of silence. "I used to be someone who talked a lot, but now I’ve learned when to speak and when to stay quiet. It introduced me to a new version of myself," she shared.
Archana also reflected on her past ambitions. "My father always dreamed of seeing me as an IAS officer. At one point, I considered working in IT or preparing for UPSC. But now, acting is where my heart lies,” she said.
Talking about her aspirations in cinema, Archana said she’s not interested in playing generic roles. "I prefer strong, layered, emotional female characters. Whether it's for film or OTT, if the script is meaningful, I'll do it. I want to play roles that connect deeply with the audience," she expressed.
She admires senior actresses like Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, Archana, Shobana, and Nandita Das. "They set a mark through their performances. I hope to carve out a similar identity in my career," Archana concluded.
