Emraan Hashmi to become Hollywood celebrity

Ooh La La! Our B-town serial kisser is going to touch international shores...

Buzz is that Emraan Hashmi has bagged an English project to be helmed by Danis Tanovic, the man behind 2010 hit film ‘No Man's Land’.

According to sources, Tanovic met Emraan sometime in October and apparently sealed a deal.

Making it as a public announcement filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt wrote on his micro-blogging site, Breaking News: Emraan Hashmi to play the lead in a Hollywood film. Academy award winning director Danis Tanovic who made NO MAN's LAND is directing this film....

Interestingly, the untitled flick will be co-produced by Anurag Kashyap Films Pvt. Ltd besides other international production banners.

An Academy Award winning director, Tanovic is also known for films namely ‘Triage’ and ‘Cirkus Columbia’.
