Emraan is superstitious about IPL

It is a known fact that 'apna star log' are a superstitious lot. So whether it comes to addition of letters in their names or finalising plans for release of their films, majority of stars don't hesitate in taking the path of superstition. Emraan Hashmi hasn't been spared either when it comes to such belief, something that has resulted in his Jannat 2 coming right in the middle of IPL.
He was quite excited when his film was announced for the same weekend when IPL 2012 kick-starts. However when Bhatts decided to postpone the film, he was a little taken aback. After all his Jannat was a big hit when released during IPL and he was sure that the franchise would work even now. He feels IPL is lucky for him, says a source
A quick call was taken soon after it was decided that Jannat 2 would now release right in the middle of IPL i.e. on 27th April. No wonder, Emraan is fine with the decision as well.
Adds a trade guru, Just like Aamir, Shahrukh and Salman have made Christmas, Diwali and Eid their own, even Emraan has his eyes set on IPL. Good for him as well as audience expectations.
