En Kadhal, the melody from Prashanth's 'Andhagan' was released a few weeks back and the song has crossed over 2 million views and is now trending on Youtube. Written by songwriter Vivek, the song is sung by lead singer Sid Shriram.

'Andhagan' is the official remake of the hit Bollywood film 'Andha Dhun' released in 2018, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Ayushman Khurana, Tabu and Radhika Apte. In this film, actor ‘Navarasa Nayagan’ Karthik plays an important role.

The remake will see actor Prashanth stepping into the shoes of a pianist essayed by Ayushmann Khurrana in the 2018 original. The Tamil film features Priya Anand and Simran in the roles played by Radhika Apte and Tabu, respectively, in the original, while Karthik, Samuthirakani, and Leela Samson will be appearing in supporting roles. 

Actor-director-producer Thiagarajan got the remake rights of the 'Andhadhun' in South Indian languages. Thiagarajan himself has taken charge of screenplay and direction in the Tamil remake, 'Andhagan'. Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations has acquired the theatrical release rights for the film.
