'Iraivi' gets the Ennamma Ippudi Panniteengaleyma reaction

Karthick Subbaraj's multistarrer Iraivi' starring S.J. Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha and Anjali released on June 3rd and has been getting extreme polar reviews. There is also a controversy surrounding the film with some producers alleging that the director has shown them in poor light through the character played by Vijay Murugan.
Meanwhile actress, director and television personality Lakshmi Ramakrishnan has severely criticized the film , though she praised Karthick Subbaraj the director on her social media page. According to her, she was damn irritated and sad with disappointment as the writing is major disappointment, technical excellence and style alone does not give us the satisfaction of a soulful film!! She also added that Iraivi , did not come across as a film with strong female characters, too much violence, twist was horrible... writer has touched the subject superficially.
