Karthi's first film with A.R.Rahman

A few months back Indiaglitz had reported that plans are afoot for the Tamil remake of the Malayalam super hit period flick 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' and A.R.Rahman is likely to score music for the Tamil version.
Now we have learnt that the team has approached actor Karthi to reprise the male lead role played by Prithiviraj in Malayalam. If the 'Madras' actor takes up the offer this will be his first film with the Oscar Winner Rahman's music.
The Tamil remake will be directed by R.S.Vimal who made the Malayalam original. Ace Tamil writer Jeyamohan will be penning the dialogues for the Tamil version.
