R.S. Vimal's 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' was selected to be screened at IFFK, in the 'Malayalam Cinema Today section. However. the director said that he is not interested in screening his movie in that section. He said that the organizers had bought the film from him saying that it will be considered for the competition section.

Vimal said that he had made it clear initially itself that he is not willing to screen the movie in any other section. He added that it is a sad plight that the makers have to know about what section the movie has qualified from the newspapers.
