TN govt makes important announcement on E-pass!

After the Coronavirus pandemic, a nationwide lockdown was announced on March 24 by the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi, and with the cases increasing day by day, the lockdown has been getting extended as well.

Tamil Nadu has been registering close to 6000 cases daily, and more than 100 deaths everyday due to Coronavirus. After the lockdown, the e-pass system was introduced to allow or deny permissions for people to travel between districts in Tamil Nadu or to other states.

Now, Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi Palanisamy has made an important announcement regarding the e-pass. Edappadi Palanisamy has announced that from August 17, everyone applying for e-pass with Aadhaar or proper ID and mobile number will be issued e-pass to travel to any district in Tamil Nadu.
