A stranger named Syed Shuja, claiming to be a hacker, on Monday, claimed that so many elections have been hacked in India since 2014 Lok Saba elections. As per him, the BJP colluded with Reliance Jio to hack EVMs on a large scale in 2014. Since then many parties have approached the hackers to rig elections.

Syed offered no evidence. He was covering his face during the press meet. He didn't hack any machine to demonstrate the process. The meet took place in London.

Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal was spotted in the corner of the room during Syed's wild show. With this, it has been suspected that the Congress leader is behind the conspiracy theory to discredit the Indian electoral process.

Says Shekhar Gupta, condemning the irresponsible press meet, "This EVM presser isn’t just underwhelming, it is insulting to anybody not smoking illegal stuff. You might find more convincing plots straight out of "Jagga Jasoos," "Agent Vijay" kind of pulp, or a post-tech version of Bikram aur Betal."
