Former Indian PM Manmohan Singh admitted in AIIMS hospital!

Former Indian Prime Minister and renowned economist Manmohan Singh was admitted to Delhi's AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) yesterday night after he complained of chest problems.

The Congress leader who was taken to the cardio-thoracic ward of AIIMS is under observation. While it has been said that the 87-year-old two-time Prime Minister is not in the ICU, he is being given treatment by cardiologist Dr Nitish Naik.

It must be noted that the former Indian Prime Minister had suffered a fall just before the parliament was adjourned in March as the coronavirus pandemic began in the nation and he had been advised complete bedrest by doctors.
