Actor Suriya will be seen next on screen in Soorarai Pottru which is directed by Sudha Kongara who had previously directed Irudhi Suttru and this movie which is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment releases in Summer.

After the launch of Maara theme recently it has been now announced that the second single Veyyon Silli will be released on February 13, and the team has announced Spicejet as the official airline partner of the movie, and Veyyon Silli will  be released in Spicejet Boeing 737 flight.

It has also been announced that Spicejet Chairman Ajay Singh will unveil the Spicejet Boeing 737 flight with Soorari Pottru poster branding on February 13. Soorarai Pottru also stars Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu and GV Prakash has composed music for the movie.
