Comedian Vivek has been known for his social message based comedy tracks in many movies, and was introduced in films by the legendary director K Balachander. Vivek has acted with almost every actor in Tamil, in his three decades long career.

The actor has also played lead roles in several movies like Naan thaan Bala, Vellai Pookal etc, and now it has been said that Vivek is all set to take a new avatar. Vivek is set to turn a director soon, and is reportedly in script discussion with his team.

It has been rumoured that Vivek will cast a top hero in his debut direction venture and that the announcement on this new movie will be released soon. On the acting front, Vivek is acting for the first time with Kamal Haasan in Shankar's Indian 2 and is also a part of Harish Kalyan's Dharala Prabhu.
