Express Raja opens big in Tamil, Kannada

Express Raja is the first film to achieve a break-even among all the Sankranthi releases. Made on a budget of Rs. 7 cr., it made profits in the first week itself. Today (Jan 22), the film has hit the marquee in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. It has opened to very good collections.
Meanwhile, 150 more theatres have been added in week two in the Telugu States. This is not surprising given the film's success and the fact that the crime comedy did not release to its fullest potential in the first week due to the intense competition from the three big releases.
UV Creations has been hitting the bull's eye film after film. After Mirchi, Run Raja Run, and Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy, Express Raja too has happened in a big way.
