'F2', starring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada, has won the Indian Panorama award for 2019. It's the only Telugu film to win the award. Director Anil Ravipudi, too, has won the special jury award.

The director has said that he is immensely happy to be declared an award-winner by the jury. Describing the film as a laugh riot, he thanked Venkatesh, Varun Tej and others.

Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film released for Sankranthi and became a massive hit. It had music by Devi Sri Prasad. Raghu Babu, Annapurnamma, Prakash Raj, Vennela Kishore and others played hilarious roles in the entertainer.

A sequel to the film, titled 'F3', will be made with predominantly the same cast.
