Rajeshwar Shastri Musalgaonkar, a Sanskrit lecturer working at Vikram University in Madhya Pradesh, is in the news for angering the Congress government in the State with a Facebook post.

To get into the details, the lecturer recently posted that the BJP will win about 300 seats in the ongoing elections. A Youth Congress worker from the State felt that it's against the Model Code of Conduct. He lodged a complaint with the District Returning Officer, requesting prompt action.

The Officer concerned took up the issue with the Higher Education Department, which suspended the lecturer on the basis of Conduct Rules that are governed by the MP Universities Act.

On his part, the lecturer has sounded sad when he said that his intention was never to benefit any political party by making the post.
