Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran' released amid wide anticipation among the fans and rightly lived upto the expectations not only in theatres but also in the box office. 'Velaikkaran' has managed to successfully perform at the BO in its second week as well. 

The Mohan Raja directorial last weekend which was screened in 17 theatres with 202 shows has reaped in a volume of Rs.59,17,432 as profits. It is also worth mentioning here that cinema halls saw a 70% crowd presence.

Moreover, the film's total earning since its release in the Chennai Box Office alone amounts to Rs.8,62,29,563 and no surprises if it touches the 10 crore mark soon.
