Famed Malayalam director Sasi passes away

Noted film veteran IV Sasi who has directed more than 150 films passed away this morning in Chennai. The director passed away while being taken on the way to the hospital.  Sasi who was undergoing treatment in Chennai was 69 years old.

Sasi ruled the box office around the 70s to the 90s with his much famed superhits such as ‘Anubhavam’, ‘Aalkootathil Thaniye’, ‘1921’, ‘Mrigaya’, ‘Devasuram’and ‘Eeta’. Sasi is survived by his wife Seema whom he met on the sets of ‘Avalude Raavukal’. He is alos survived by his daughter Anu and son Ani.
