A 37-year-old actress has stated that she will file a complaint with the police if anyone trolls her after being annoyed by netizens calling her "aunty". The actress' statement has caused a great stir on social media.

Anasuya Bharadwaj started her career as a television presenter and became a famous actress, who predominantly works in the Telugu industry. She has received awards and accolades for her performances in the movies Kshanam and Rangasthalam. Anasuya was recently seen in Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' and she will reprise her role in the sequel.

Anasuya Bharadwaj had a tiff with Vijay Deverakonda in the past and the issue was settled. Vijay Deverakonda starrer 'Liger' has got poor feedback from fans and is being brutally trolled by the netizens. Anasuya, for her part, took a dig at the movie by tweeting in Telugu which translates to, "Karma is a boomerang and it does come back even if late. Mother's pain will not go away. Karma.. Sometimes it is difficult to come, but it is sure to come!! #NotHappyOnSomeonesSadness but #FaithRestored" (sic).

Anasuya's tweet has upset several Vijay Deverakonda fans and she has faced trolls since then. Replying to the tweets calling her "aunty", Anasuya wrote, "Here by..taking screenshot of every account abusing me..age shaming me by calling “Aunty”..involving my family into this and I will file a case and take it to a point where you will regret getting to me without any legit reason..this is my final warning.." (sic). She is also sharing and replying to all the trolls and abuses on Twitter for the last few days.
