One of the popular writers of the Tamil literary field, Vela Ramamoorthy has been known for his acclaimed works like Kutra Parambarai. A former army officer, Vela Ramamoorthy turned an actor as well before few years.
Vela Ramamoorthy has posted negative roles in movies like Sethupathi, Kidari and important characters in movies like Paayum Puli, Rajni Murugan etc. Now, the writer turned actor is all set to become a director.
In a recent interview, Vela Ramamoorthy has revealed that during the lockdown phase he has penned the screenplay for his debut direction venture. This movie will be a realistic take on the lives of laundry workers and the official announcement on the cast and crew will be made after the lockdown. Vela Ramamoorthy is also acting in movies like Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Annaatthe.
