Fan attack on Bithiri Sathi suspected

Popular small-screen comedian Bithiri Sathi, whose everyday take on a range of developments, silly and erudite, amuse viewers across the Telugu States, was on Monday afternoon attacked by two unknown, masked assailants in front of a TV channel's building.

The police have taken into custody the assailants.  As per early reports, one of them was drunk while attacking the comedian.

It's suspected that they are the fans of a star, who was made fun of by Sathi on his show
