Fan loses eyesight after hit by a golf ball

Last Friday, a mishap happened in the Le Golf National which was held at Paris. Golfer Brooks Koepka’s faulty tee shot hit an onlooker Corine Remande in the forehead which has now made him lose her eyesight.
The golfer had approached the victim when the incident happened. Then the victim was already receiving medical attention while the golfer gifted her a signed glove and left. “I didn’t feel like the ball had struck my eye and then I felt the blood start to pour. The scan on Friday confirmed a fracture of the right eye socket and an explosion of the eyeball,” she said.
Remande not only criticized the tournament organizers who didn’t contact her but also planning to take legal action. And we thought golf was a lazy leisure game with no injury possibility.
