The teaser of 'Puli', released on the occasion of Vijay's birthday, has been creating records regarding the number of views in Youtube. In just two days, the teaser got nearly 2.5 million hits and the makers are very happy with the response.

The teaser was screened in nearly 5000 screens on Vijay's birthday and it is a record. This film is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. Sridevi played Rani Soumya Devi in this film, which has Vijay, Shruti Haasan and Hansika playing the leads. Chimbudevan is the director of this huge budgeted fantasy film.
