Last night, soon after the look of Venkatesh in 'Naarappa' was released, sections of Kollywood movie buffs started trolling the 'Venky Mama' actor. As per them, he is nothing like Dhanush in 'Asuran', whose remake 'Naarappa' is. Many Twitter handles have mocked Telugu actors in a derogatory manner.

Following this, sections of Tollywood buffs started trolling Tamil actors. In the main, Thalapathy Vijay has come in for heavy trolling. He has been compared to every single big Telugu star and ridiculed. 'Expectation vs Reality' memes are doing rounds on social media and, in each of them, the likes of Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Prabhas and Allu Arjun are "royal", while Vijay is anything but.

Hashtag 'Telugu Real Heroes' has been launched. "Don't troll Venkatesh ever again. The fans of all actors will join hands to give it back to you," a Twitter user warned. This show of unity by Telugu movie stars' fans is rare.
